The Starlite Drive-In was opened by Charles Whitman on September 14, 1961. On June 15, 1963 the screen was destroyed by a windstorm. It reopened and continued until closing at the end of the 1984 season. In 2016 the Starlight Reception Hall is on the site.

Appears to have opened in the 1960’s and was open until at least the mid 1980’s.
The Starlight Drive-In opened its gates on September 14, 1961, and was owned by Charles Whitman. Less than two years later on June 15, 1963, the original screen supported by steel angle irons anchored in concrete was severely damaged when wind gusts caused the screen to collapse during a storm.
The Starlite closed after the 1984 season.
