Mota-Vu Drive-in opened on 29th July 1959 with Debbie Reynolds in “Tammy” & Bud Abbott & Lou Costello in “Abbott and Costello Meet the Keystone Kops”. It was closed on 27th January 1990 with Meryl Streep in “She Devil”.

Addrress is Kalkee Road. Situated next to the cemetery. The drive-in has demolished(date unknown?).the site is mow housing.
If you have a look at Google street view and go down Motavu Drive, a house at number 10 looks like it might be the old concession building? also take a look almost opposite on the other side of the street, looks like bases of the speaker posts were saved and put together?
Opened on 29/7/1959. Closed in february 1990 with “She-devil”. Motavu Drive used to be called Kalkee Road. There is a photo on the Drive-insdownunder.com.au that shows the former snack bar building that is now the same building that is the house.
It appears it actually wasn’t the snack bar but the house of the owner, built just behind the drive in. The photo above was taken from the position of the house.
