Hollywood Drive-In opened on 20th December 1967 and closed on 26th January 1985. The drive-in has been partly demolished, except for the screen(which was still there until it too was demolished in February 2018), the parking area site is part of the Hollywood Plaza Shopping Centre and some other remains are still visible.

Boo!!
1 Hollywood Blvd
Opened on 20/12/1967 1100 cars. largest drive-in theatre in South Australia. Screen 120 feet by 54 feet.
Are the two light poles that pointed at the screen gone too?
Yes
Is there anything left of this drive-in on this site now?
No
However, you can clearly see where the screen was held down.
There is 2 videos of the screen coming down on You Tube.
There is a rumour that on the opening night that the movie(whatever it was?) was screened upside down by mistake?!?
