Norline Drive-In

Located on the west side of town on the north side of Ingham Road, to the west of Mather Street. The Norline Drive-In opened on 27th September 1957 with John Gregson in “True as a Turtle”. It had a large CinemaScope screen measuring 75ft x 32ft. It was closed in(1980’s?). The snack-bar and projection buildings, and the the ramps are still there, and the site is now a demolition yard(North Queensland Demolition Recycling).
