Located in the south Melbourne district of St. Kilda at the corner of The Esplanade and Robe Street adjacent to the Royal Hotel. The Living Picture Gardens was an open-air cinema which opened in November 1909. It was also known as the Jester’s Theatre and later became the Arcadia Theatre.

It was closed in 1913 and became an amusement park. In 1915 it re-opened briefly as the Corso Picture Theatre. Late in 1915 it was closed and the site was redeveloped to build the Cinema le Boulevard.
