Located in the southeast Melbourne suburb of Murrumbeena. The Capri Theatre was opened in 1935. By 1946 it had been re-named Argosy Theatre and was operated by Argosy Theatres Property Ltd.
The Argosy Theatre was closed in 1989 and has been demolished. A retirement home has been built on the site.

It’s actually Murrumbeena which is a suburb of Melbourne (rather than a district). The last time I was there many years ago I saw The Three Faces Of Eve.
