Classic Retro 50's Midnight Show Leaflet - Hoyts Southern Theatre Hampton Victoria, Australia

Located in the outer south Melbourne district of Hampton. The Hoyts Hampton Theatre was opened on 23rd July 1921. In 1935 they had re-named it Hoyts Southern Theatre. It was closed on 10th October 1964 and has since been demolished.

A Safeway supermarket was built on the site.

Surprisingly, for a very up-market suburb, this was always a 3rd or 4th suburban release house on the Hoyts circuit.
