The Cherry Creek Cinema opened with Walt Disney’s Monkeys, Go Home! on February 17th, 1967. Grand opening ad posted.
I was an usher/ticket and concession sales associate here in the late 1970s….Great time and met a few celebritys while working here..Robert Redford being one….I remember having to change the 2 billboards in high winds, snow, rain, etc…Enjoyed my time there and had a great boss Dennis Mahaney

MY OFFICE WAS HERE FIRST I REPLACE THE PASSING BILL HASTINGS AS CITY MANAGER OF CO. LATER WAS PROMOTIVE TO DIVISION MANAGER OFFICE HERE UNTIL CINEMA AURORA MOVE THERE MY DIVISION WAS THE LARGEST IN THE COMPANY INCLUDED CO. N.M. NORTH TX. AND AZ.
