Located on Memorial Road at the corner with Albany Highway. The first hall on the site(relocated from Torbay) was opened on 23rd September 1893. The Agricultural Hall was opened in 1900(replacing the hall or built next to the hall, unknown?). Unknown if movies were screened in either of the two halls?
The Plantagenet Hall was opened on the site of the halls in 1927, and movies screened from the beginning. Movies were screened in the Plantagenet Hall until 1963 when the Mount Barker Drive-In opened. The Plantagenet Hall is still there.

Plantagenet Hall is on Muir street(north west corner of Albany Highway). Torbay is a small town 20 kilometres(12 miles) west of Albany.
This hall might have been used as a filming location in the Australian movie “Rams”?
