The Plains Theatre was opened prior to 1950. As is the case with so many of the old theater buildings the Plains Theatre building has survived as of this writing (2016) and currently houses a CPA firm.

In 1925 there was a Liberty Theatre listed for Cross plains with the same seating listed, could the Plains have been one in the same? It was located on Main street also.
And the 1925 listing info is from?
