George Henry "Cap" Judia (pronounced Judy) came to Cisco in 1893 and in 1919 opened the Judia Theatre which was the first movie theater in Cisco. By 1931 it had been renamed Ideal Theatre. It was listed as (Closed) in 1933.

In 2017, the first floor of the building survives (the upper floors have been demolished).
