Opened May 8, 2016, by David Cabrera and Ryan Hunter Mitchell, Suns Cinema was funded by a Kickstarter campaign.
Included in the cinema’s schedule are revival films like “Willard”, silents with Charlie Chaplin and foreign classics such as Fritz Lang’s 1931 “M.” For a touch of levity they screen 1980’s television and Saturday morning cartoons.
In addition to movie snacks the art house has a bar, which is open until 3am.
According to Kickstarter “285 backers pledged $16,149 to help bring this project to life.”

The screening room has a few tables and chairs and what looks like a large TV for showing movies.
Hmmm. I happened to look at their concession menu and they serve ‘vegan pork rinds’ and tv dinners.
It would have been nice if the website had pictures of the interior. From the description above, it just seems like an enlarged row home living room and tv.
