Opened in the mid-1990’s as the Super Saver 7, this was a bargain house operated by Silver Cinemas in the Fremont Gateway (formerly Fremont Fashion Center) shopping center. Total seating capacity was for 1,500.
After Silver Cinemas left, the Naz Cinemas moved here from their Fremont Hub location. It became a premier venue for Indian cinema, but from 2009, it has also programed some first and second run mainstream movies.
Taken over by Phoenix Big Cinemas in 2010, with renovations planned, it had closed by 2014. It reopened November 4, 2015 as the Cine Grand Fremont 7.

This theater is once again open, now called the Big Cinemas Fremont 7. Official site. They are planning a massive remodel in the coming months.
According to posted maximum occupancy signs, seating capacities for the auditoriums are as follows:
1 – 258
2 – 239
3 – 152
4 – 156
5 – 162
6 – 208
7 – 164

It looks like this particular theater in the chain is back to showing exclusively Bollywood films.
I can’t find evidence that this theatre is open any longer.
I believe this location is due to be taken over by global exhibitor CineGrand.
The article below indicates that CineGrand put about $3 million into refurbishing and modernizing the place. It reopened in October 2015. I recall the place looking run down under the last few owners.
The new owners installed new digital projectors with Christie Vive Audio systems. Also, the individual auditoriums now have electric recliners and new carpeting. But, in the process it looks like they downsized the seating to 40 to 90 seats per auditorium. That’s a huge decrease in capacity. But, the new owners seem intent on something more upscale than a megaplex.

THIS THEATER WAS BUILT AND RUN FIRST BY SUPER SAVER CINEMA OF EL PASO, TX. I WAS THE DIVISION MANAGER DURING EARLY YEARS THEATER DID VERY WELL, THE AREA VERY HIGH COST OF LIVING VERY HARD TO KEEP MANAGERS AND STAFF AT WHAT WE PAID, OR ANY THEATER CHANGE PAID. SUPER SAVER RAN IT AS A DOLLAR HOUSE BUT MAY HAVE BEEN 1.50 LATER ONE HEAD ACE AFTER ANOTHER SAD TO SAY
