The Olympic Twin Drive-In(named because it was built near where the 1956 Melbourne Summer Olympics athletes village was located) opened in 1964. Name changed in(late-1960’s) when the Northland Shopping Centre was built across the road. The drive-in closed around 1987, a few months before the new Hoyts Northland multiplex opened across the road. The site was demolished(date unknown?), and is now a Homemaker centre.
