This small cinema located in the beginning of Rue Haute was in activity from prior 1920, first called Excelsior Cine. It was re-named Ira Cine from the 1930’s, and closed during the 1940’s due to the opening of the nearby cinema the Crosly Palace, later re-named Crosly Steenpoort which was much larger. Although demolished, the façade survives.
