The town’s only indoor movie theatre after the fire at the Overland Hotel was the Majestic Theatre on the south side of Fremont Street, just west of 2nd Street. During the summer, movies were shown at the Airdome outdoor theatre on the northeast corner of 3rd Street and Fremont Street. When it rained, patrons would help the projectionist carry the equipment back to the Majestic Theatre.

It was listed in the Film Daily Yearbook of 1928 as seating 400.

Today the site of the Majestic Theatre is part of the Neolopolis Shopping Center.

According to the Google aerial photo in 2022, the theatre is demolished - the entire block is now the Neonopolis shopping center.
