The Metro Theatre was opened on March 29, 1919 with Nazimova in “Revelation”. On February 17, 1920 it was renamed Granada Theatre. Listed as seating 300 and (Closed) in the Film Daily Yearbook’s of 1940, 1941 & 1943. The reason for closure was possibly the opening on the Yerrington Theatre by 1940 (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
