Located in Thornaby-on-Tees, North Yorkshire (now part of Stockton-on-Tees), on Westbury Street, just to the south of George Street. The Central Hall was built in the late-1800’s. Around 1900 it was named Central Palace and was presenting live theatre performances, operated by Cuminski & Son. In the early-1920’s it was operating as a cine-variety theatre.
Around 1930 it was equipped with a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) sound system. It was closed around 1955 and by 1962 had been demolished to make way for a new by-pass road.
