The Vaca Valley Cinema 4 was opened in early-1982. It was closed on September 7, 1998. It is now a church.

I would be shocked if this was ever operated by AMC Theatres. Was always operated by regional independents as far as I’m aware. Would be interested in seeing what makes you think it was an AMC.
According to some showtimes from the San Francisco Examiner shortly before the theater closed, it said “AMC Vaca Valley” which means that it did operate as an AMC theater for some time, but not sure how long, but I was shocked when I found that it existed!
Still curious about this AMC thing. I see on newspapers.com that a lot of the co-op ads have the AMC Plaza 6 in Vallejo directly underneath the Vaca Valley… maybe there was some misprinting?
