The building was originally the Barney F. Nabor Store. The Majestic Theatre was opened September 27, 1919. It was closed in January 1924 when the new Antioch Theatre was about to open on Lake Street. The Majestic Theatre was converted into a restaurant.

“Workmen are to begin this week to remodel the store of B.F. Nabor into a modern theater. An entire new front will be installed and the floor will be altered, many other changes will also be made to meet the requirements of a first class theater building. We understand that the Majestic will be moved to this location as soon as the work is completed”.
