The Galaxy Cinemas Red Deer were opened in March 28, 2008. This 11-screen stadium-seating complex was initially built by Landmark Cinemas and was to have been opened by them, but Cineplex took over and completed the project when Landmark was unable to complete it in time for the 2007 holiday movie season.
Amenities at the Galaxy Red Deer include six screens with RealD 3D capability, one UltraAVX screen, two party rooms, an Outtakes Backstage Bistro restaurant and a Cinescape Games arcade.
