The 11-screen, 1,280-seat Studio Movie Grill The Colony opened on July 30, 2015, in the former Best Buy store.

Like all SMGs their American Grill offerings, such as Sriracha chicken, flatbread and pulled pork spring rolls, coconut chicken, artisan pizzas and desserts, are geared to the local community. They also serve 60 premium spirits, cocktails and local microbrews.

This might be the single best sounding theatre in ALL of North Dallas. High quality with thundering bass in even the smallest of their auditoriums.
This theatre is headed for a bit of friendly competition as a Galaxy Theatres location is opening about 1 mile away in the Grandscapes center around Summer 2020.
