Located in the Tollcross district of Glasgow’s East End. Green’s Picturedrome was opened by George Green in 1914. It had an attractive red sandstone façade. It was renovated in 1926 to the plans of the original architect John Fairweather, and was renamed Cinema.
The Cinema was closed in February 1958 and became a bingo club for a period of time. Eventually that closed and the building became unused, and was demolished in 1973.
