Granada Theatre

The Granada Theatre was opened on March 25, 1925. It was equipped with a Robert-Morton 2 manual, 5 ranks theatre organ. In 1948 the owners bought the competing Playhouse and renamed it Cove Theatre. They closed the Granada Theatre in May 1952.

Atmospheric Spanish architecture with Robert Morgan organ were all part of La Jolla’s “theatre beautiful,” the Granada’s marketing tag-line.
