Located on the same side of E. Main Street and adjacent to the Par-K Theatre. The Grand Opera House was opened January 2, 1902 and was built by C.B. Pascoe, who also operated the Opera House in Somerset. By 1909 it was known as the Grand Theatre and closed in 1938 and became Roscona’s Restaurant (the Grand Theatre was still listed in the 1943 edition of Film Daily Yearbook).

The location above for the Grand is incorrect. It was located at what is now 109 E Main Street. I can’t tell you the year of opening, but the Grand was there in a postcard dated 1916.
