Cine Bolivar was inaugurated on June 5 of 1918 with the name of Cine Eligio Torres. Around 1944 was renovated by the new owners, the Pujol Brothers, who changed the name to Teatro Pujol. After 1963, was renamed again as Cine Bolivar.
