The Little Theatre was a rather obscure cinema operation in Wolfeboro, NH. It was located in an imposing white building which was built as a Unitarian Church in 1888. In 1912 it became a Masonic Temple after a remodel which removed most of the church-like architecture. It soon began to be used as an entertainment venue and was renamed Opera House, then Little Theatre which began screening movies.
In 1938 the front of the building was rebuilt. In 1995 it was purchased by the Village Players.
