It was remodeled and taken over by RMC Theatres on February 14th, 1997, with 3 screens. 4 screens on March 14th, 1997, and 7 screens on June 27th, 1997. Stadium seating was installed and expanded to 9 screens on June 19th, 1998. Grand opening ads posted

Theater with an identity crisis: half of the print references call it the Village Square Mall Theater.
