Located on the southeast side of Dowley Street to the north of Robinson Street. The Cue Hall opened in 1894(gardens in 1939?). The hall was struck by lightning and burnt down on 5th March 1955, but the Gardens survived the fire. After the fire people drove onto the gardens site like a primitive drive-in. The screenings ceased in the late-1950’s. In later years films were occasionally screened in the fire brigade hall and in the Aboriginal hostel, but there were no further regular screenings in the town. The hall and gardens are still there.
