Located in San Benito, south of Harlingen, TX. The Citrus Drive-In was opened in 1951. It was operated by Miss C. DeSalma. It was still operating in 1959.

If the dates are correct, then the Citrus Drive-In is currently being mislabeled as the “Juarez Drive-In” on this site. The drive-in located at 2430 U.S. 77 Business was established at least by 1953. It has been demolished, although the projection booth/concession stand appears to still be standing. https://goo.gl/maps/FsrYa
This drive-in was still going in 1959 when we left Harlingen.
