Movie Tavern by Marcus Roswell

The Movie Tavern opened on December 22, 2013, at its third location in the Atlanta market and offers casual dining and beverages. According to the Roswell Neighbor, amenities feature the latest technology as well as luxury features like and plush electric reclining loungers and reserved seating.

Movie Tavern also has a proprietary MT-X (Movie Tavern Xtreme) large format auditorium, which includes a 70-foot silver screen, 2D and RealD 3D capability, and an enhanced, customized sound system. Partners In Architecture designed the 11-screen, 1,500-seat complex.

Movie Tavern also offers ‘Retro Cinema,’ featuring digitally restored films from years past. Another enticement for the early birds is ‘Breakfast And A Flick’ every Saturday and Sunday morning. It was taken over by Marcus Theatres on February 1, 2019 and renamed Movie Tavern by Marcus Roswell. By 2024 the total seating capacity had been reduced to 975-seats.

This theatre was included in Marcus Theatres purchase of Movie Tavern and as such as of February 1, 2019 is now operated by Marcus Theatres. This theatre is now “Movie Tavern by Marcus Roswell” and all relevant information is now on the Marcus Theatres website, www.marcustheatres.com.
