The Ligonia Theatre closed as a first-run movie house on June 14, 1997 with “Break Down”.

So they stripped off the brick facade, put up a fake old-fashioned front, and moved the entrance to one side?

Is this theater now called the “Diamond Theatre” ? There is a Diamond Theatre at 210 W. Main St. which shows movies on weekends and occasional live shows for children on stage.
