The Starlite Drive-In was open in 1951. It was later known as the New Starlite and by 2002 it was the Hi-5 Drive-In. The drive-in was operated by Central States Theatres. It was no longer listed in 2006. The car capacity was 450 cars. The site is now a Loews Home Improvement Store and a Target Department Store.

May 5th, 1949 grand opening ad as Town Drive-In in photo section. Renamed Starlight in 1970.
Looking at aerial images on the Iowa Geographic Map Server, the screen and projection booth were gone by the end of the 1990s. the 2002 aerial view shows the entire area graded over. Construction of the shopping center was complete by 2004.
