According to topographical maps, the drive-in was located, not surprisingly, at the junction of HWY 72 and Lincoln drive on the NE side of the town where the intersection forms a “Y”. Approximate address is 469 Madison Street (Google) which is the location of an old, abandoned Wal-Mart.

I think the old HI-Y DRIVE-IN was built around 1955, and it was owned by L. A. Mercier, who also owned the show house on the square in town which was ran by my father A. P. Baldwin, who ran it for 32 years. Jim Baldwin, who ran the old HI-Y DRIVE-IN for a while.
