Gilles Theatre

The Gilles Theatre was open prior to 1925. It was rebuilt in 1943. Seating was increased from 350 to 650. By 1957 it was operated by Drive-In Theatres Inc. In 1957 the ownership changed and Ward & Christine Nichols became the new owners under the Cinema Entertainment Corp. name. They also owned the Valley Drive-In that opened in 1957 and the Ridge Theatre in Breckenridge which was previously operated by Drive-In Theatres Inc. The Gilles Theatre was still operating at least into the early-1970’s. The building now houses a fitness center.
