The Vogue Theatre opened on April 1, 1914 with Richard Stanton in “Wolves of the Underworld”. It was a nickelodeon that seated 200 and closed on August 5, 1917 with Charlie Chaplin in “The Immigrant”.

Woolworths moved into to the building and occupied it until December 24, 1968. It has since been demolished and the site is now an office building.

Th Vogue was one of eight movie theaters listed at Springfield in the 1914-1915 American Motion Picture Directory.

Harris Hickox, Jr. opened the Vogue Theatre on the West side of the square on April 1, 1914 with “Wolves of the Underworld” and a “Mutual Weekly” newsreel. The short-lived venue closed on August 5, 1917 with Charlie Chaplin in “The Immigrant.” Woolworth’s expanded into the space operating 50 years and going out of business there on December 24, 1968
