The Flag Theatre opened in in 1914, first as an open-air theatre. In November 1916 it was remodelled by architect J.C. Speddon into a 250-seat indoor theatre, and it was modernized in 1925, with the seating capacity increased to 400. Around 1929 it was renamed Deluxe Theatre, which closed in 1958. It seated 250. The front of the building suffered a fire in December 1959, and a new plain façade was built, with the entire building now used for office space.

the building was not demolished there was a fire that burn the front of the building they tore down the front and rebuild the front you can see the old sign on the side of the building on Lowman St.and can make out where they replaced the old brick with new.you can see it on this Googl street map
