Berman’s Theatre was opened February 12, 1915. It was remodeled in October 1916. New owners took over in 1919 and it became Flaks Photoplay Theatre, then in 1922 was renamed Metro Photoplays, closing later that year. In July 1939 it was converted into a public garage. It has since been demolished and a daycare center is now on the site.

The October 24, 1914, issue of The New York Clipper said that I. Berman was building a moving picture theater at 1 S. High Street in Baltimore. The architect for the project was John Freund, Jr..
