Located on the first floor level mall of the Union Square shopping centre, part of Aberdeen Railway Station. The Cineworld Cinema - Aberdeen - Union Square was opened on 20th October 2009. Total seating capacity was 2,382, ranging from 326 down to 169. A 4DX screen opened on 30th November 2017 which reduced the total seating capacity to 2,261.

Note – a 4DX screen was opened up on November 30th 2017. According to Cineworld’s website this has bought the seat count down to 2261.
