The “Davis Street At Night” photo in the center, is actually looking South on Sherman Avenue from Davis Street. The illuminated arch in the center, is the then Evanston later Valencia Theater. It really needs to be enlarged to see the detail, but that is definitely it. When compared to the 1920’s daylight photo of the same POV I added a while back. 1924 image courtesy of J.J. Sedelmaier.
