Originally listed as being located in Vincennes, Indiana on Old U.S. 50 W. It is actually across the river border in Laurenceville, IL. The Drive-In was opened in September 1949 and was operated by Alliance Theater Corp. They renamed it Allison Drive-In around 1951, and were still operating the theatre in 1955.

Same drive-in? An aside in the Oct. 1, 1949 issue of BoxOffice reported, “The new drive-in at Lawrenceville, Ill., has been opened.”
