This cinema opened as a 6-plex on May 23, 1984 by Gulf States Theatres. When it was sold to United Artists in 1986 it had already been increased to 10 screens. On July 14, 1995 it was converted into a 14 plex by United Artists. It closed in 2000 while United Artists was under bankruptcy and was later demolished.
