The Prien Lake I II & III was opened by General Cinemas on October 13, 1978. It was later operated by Carmike Cinemas. The cinema closed on May 19, 1994.
Cinemark opened a new 14 screen at the Mall in June of 2004.

Opened on October 13, 1978. General Cinema operated the theater until Carmike sold the theater on May 19, 1994.
It was most likely still open after being taken over by Carmike.
