The Twin Oaks Drive-In was open in the early-1950’s. The car capacity was listed at 200 cars. The drive-in was operated by Queen City Booking. It closed in the mid-1980’s.

Found it, the exact address is 298 US-221 Sparta NC 28675. The screen skeleton appears to still stand but its actually located outside the drive-in’s tree lined boundary. The site is vacant and overgrown.
Visited recently. A shell is all that remains. Even so, it’s neat to visit these places. It’s like peering through a foggy window of time and imagining what once was.
