Small town movie theatre. The 656-seat Strand Theatre was opened in December 1940. It was later twinned. It was closed in November 2022 for refurbishment and renovations to convert it into a triplex, with a planned reopening in May 2023. It was closed in September 2023 for refurbishment and is planned to reopen in late-2023 or early-2024.

OPENED CHRISTMAS 1940. Effective NOVEMBER 2022, new owners closing cinema for 16 months for renovations pending approval of Town Counsel. Plans include re-model into a three-plex, new washrooms, new Barco projectors, QSC sound, JBL Speakers and new seats. Open December 2023 or April 2024.
