The 71 Drive-In was opened on May 4, 1948 with Bud Abbott ^& Lou Costello in “Buck Privates Come Home”. Car capacity was listed at 300. The 71 Drive-In closed in the late-1960’s.

After further research, it has been confirmed that the proper address for 71 Drive-In was actually at a different location, Jenny Lind Road at S Zero St Fort Smith, AR 72901
The address currently in the heading was for the Sky Vue Drive-In.
From the Fort Smith Historical Society, the address of the 71 Drive-In was 1919 South Zero, Fort Smith, AR.
The address puts it just on the east side of Mill Creek, but according to the information I received, the drive-in was located where the Southerlands now stands, which is on the west side of the creek.
