Malco opened the Mall Trio in the mid-1970’s as a first run Cinema. When the Cinema 16 opened the Mall Trio was relegated to a sub run discount house. The theatre featured, advance ticketing, online ticketing, rocking chair comfort, Dolby digital projection and sound and second run attractions. It was closed in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and never reopened.
