Opening on March 3, 2000 as the Grande Stadium Cinemas at Friendly Center under Charlotte-based Consolidated Theatres. Located on the opposite end of the Friendly Center, this multiplex opened with 12 screens and by 2008 four more screens were added when it expanded to 16 screens. All auditoriums have stadium seating, full Dolby DTS digital sound and projection, and advance ticket sales for coming attractions.
Regal Cinemas took over the operations of this theatre in 2008 following its acquisition of Consolidated Theatres. Located in the Friendly Center next door to Harris Teeter.
