The drive-in was on Hwy 51 South, Sardis, MS. 38666. I was the projectionist there for 9 years. Alton Simms (deceased) of Memphis opened it in the 50’s and sold it in the 70’s to Hal Ferrell of Batesville who owned it until the late 70’s. Ferrell also owned the Eureka Cinema in Batesville, MS. I quit there in 1976 when I entered the Air Force for 20 years. Once the drive-in closed it fell apart pretty fast. I sure have a lot of good memories from my days there. Calvin Geeslin (deceased) was the manager.
