Located in Motherwell, Lanarkshire. The La Scala Cinema was opened in February 1920. It was part of John Maxwell’s Scottish Cinema and Variety Theatre circuit, which became Associated British Cinemas(ABC). It was designed by architect James L. Ross of Wishaw.
ABC closed the La Scala Cinema in 1959, and it was demolished. A supermarket was built on the site.
